KIDS MINISTRY

WE LOVE OUR CHILDREN!

It is our firm belief that our kids are the most important people in our family and deserve to be raised into the kingdom as the next generation of leaders. We have some fantastic ministry leaders that serve to oversee our kids ministry on Sunday’s and when we gather. Check out more info on Sunday school, baby dedications and other Kid Ministry below!

SUNDAY’S

Sunday mornings your children can start with you in our corporate worship time. We really believe in displaying to our kids what worship is and means to us through them participating and seeing us worship, so we have most of them stay with their parents until worship is finished and then dismiss them to kids ministry during our testimony and giving time directly after worship. 18months to 3 year olds can go in just before the service starts.

You can take them at dismissal and pick them up when you are on your way out.

Your kids will experience praying for each other and our community as well as receive snacks and do different activities and teachings from scripture for applicable life lessons of walking in faith and in relationship to Christ Jesus.

  • Yes! We use Check-ins with Planning Center Online. You can add your information in advance here: https://haven-393707.churchcenter.com/people/forms/1039606 if you have never used Planning Center before OR if you have used it, find us on the Church Center App, which you can download here: https://haven-393707.churchcenter.com/setup .

    When you come to Haven, please sign in your children before the service and get them a name tag which they will need to enter kids church. lease be sure to head to kids min as soon as you can after the service to sign them out, you will need your security number to collect your children. Our kids ministry will not hand your child off to another person unless previously specified by you in Planning Center.

  • We have two age groups currently. Our Toddler time is for 18months to 3 years old. These children can go in before the service starts.

    When your child is 4yrs-10yrs they can join our main Kid’s Ministry class that starts right after worship. They will be dismissed by our staff, at which time you can walk them to the back. If you have signed them in before the service, you can take them back and as long as they have their name tag on, they can go right in.

  • There will always be at least 2 adults per class in Children’s ministry as well as a few older youth as volunteers. Our adults are always from two separate house holds.

  • Because we are downtown, in our services and gatherings we ask you be with your children where they are and that they actually would be by your side, having our kids in our worship time is for their benefit of growing up seeing your walk with the Lord and learning from you and other adults how we worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth.
